Uniforms

GIRLS K-9th DRESS UNIFORM: Monday and as requested

Girls Dress UniformGirls are to wear a white or light blue collared button down dress shirt with a solid navy or Legacy plaid skirt, skort, or jumper.  No more than 2” above the knee (when seated).  Girls may choose to wear navy dress slacks, but they must be dress slacks and not jeggings or jean style cut.

Socks - Opaque or solid color navy blue, white, black, or gray tights, leggings, or knee highs must be worn.  

Shoes - must be closed toe and the heel may not be higher than 2 inches.  No distracting styles, lights, wheelies, spikes, etc. on shoes.  

Sweaters, cardigans, vests, or blazers are encouraged and must be solid navy or solid red.  Knit sweaters may have hoods that are not to be worn in the building.  No hoodies or sweatshirts are allowed.  

Ties - Girls may wear a crossover or regular tie that is solid navy, solid red, or Legacy plaid. 
 
 
 
 

GIRLS K-9th CASUAL DRESS DAYS: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday

Girls Casual UniformGirls are to wear a solid navy, red, or light blue polo (white is allowed in 5th-9th grade) with khaki or navy bottoms (pants, capris, shorts, skorts, or skirts).  *No cargo style pants *No jeggings *No leggings *No levi/jean material/style *No plaid is allowed with polos *No more than 2'' above the knee (when seated)

Girls may choose to wear a polo style dress in solid navy, solid red, or solid light blue.  Polo dresses are not appropriate on formal dress day (Monday).  

Socks - Solid white, navy, black, gray, tan, or brown colored socks, tights, nylons or leggings are required.  

Shoes must be closed toe and the heel may not be higher than 2 inches.  No distracting styles, lights, wheelies, spikes, etc. on shoes.  

Sweaters - Solid red or navy colored sweaters, sweatshirts, cardigans, or pullovers may be worn over polos.  They are encouraged during winter months when rooms are cooler.  No other colors will be allowed in the classrooms.  No logos, wording, or hoodies are allowed. 
 

BOYS K-9th DRESS UNIFORM: Monday and as requested

Boys Dress UniformBoys are to wear a white or light blue collared button down dress shirt with a solid navy or tan dress pants.  Boys in Kdg-4th grade may wear shorts.  No cargo style pants, no levi/jean style or material.  

Ties - Solid navy blue, red, or Legacy plaid tie must be worn in 1st – 9th grade.  

Socks - Solid color navy blue, white, black, tan, brown, or gray socks must be worn and be visible.  

Shoes must be conservative in style.  No distracting styles, lights, wheelies, spikes, etc. on shoes.  

Sweaters -Solid navy or solid red sweaters, cardigans, vests, or blazers are encouraged.  No hoodies or sweatshirts are allowed.

Belts -Solid brown or black belt is recommended in 4th – 9th grade.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

All uniforms must be appropriate material for school.  No sequins, no see-through, no jeans, no levis, etc.

Uniform tops may be short sleeve or long sleeve.  Undershirts must be plain white in color.  

Hair color must be of a natural color.  No outlandish hair styles or colors (such as purple, pink, blue etc.) are allowed.  No body piercings may be visible.   Please see Parent Student Handbook for further detail regarding acceptable uniform guidelines.

Current spirit wear may be worn on Wednesday.  

Free dress guidelines must be followed. No clothing with drug, alcohol, gang references, or skulls, or anything offensive or inappropriate to the LPA Code of Conduct. Clothing must be clean and in good repair with no holes, frayed edges, rips, etc. Clothing must fit appropriately, nothing overly tight or baggy. Modesty rules apply at all times. Shirts must cover shoulders and midriffs. Shorts, skorts, skirts must follow hemline guidelines (no more than 2” above the knee when seated), and undershirts must be worn under low-cut tops.
