How do I donate to Legacy Prep?
There are a few different ways to sponsor LPA:

 

1. Make a general donation. Click on the “Make a Donation” link or directly on the PayPal button below. This will send you to LPA’s PayPal account. This account accepts money as a direct payment from your checking, savings or credit account. Typically within 1 to 7 days the funds are transferred from your account to LPA’s account. Once the donation is received by Legacy Preparatory Academy an official receipt will be mailed directly to you detailing your donation and providing our 501(c)3 tax exempt number. Please keep this receipt for your personal tax information.

To make a donation in person, you may contact the Community Outreach Specialist, please call 801-294-2801 ext. 2002 or email at nclaeys@legacyprep.org to make an appointment. If the Community Outreach Specialist is unavailable, she will return your call as soon as reasonably possible.

2. Make a donation for a specific need.
Sponsor a classroom, department or event. A list of current sponsorship opportunities is available below, or you may contact Legacy Preparatory Academy directly and speak with our Community Outreach Specialist. To contact the Community Outreach Specialist via phone, please call 801-294-2801 ext. 2002 or email at nclaeys@legacyprep.org. If the Community Outreach Specialist is unavailable, she will return your call as soon as reasonably possible.

Any amount is appreciated. All donations are handled by the Business Office and recorded by the Business Manager. Receipts are given containing a detailed description of the donation and a reference to our tax id number. These donations are tax deductible as LPA is a non-profit organization.




BASIC SPONSORSHIPS
1. Classroom Sponsor $1,500
As a Classroom Sponsor you will ensure the success of Legacy Preparatory Academy by allowing us to purchase necessary supplies and offer enrichment activities within the individual classrooms.


2. School Sponsor $5,000

Elementary and/or Secondary in donated funds, services or materials
As a School Sponsor, you will sponsor specific common areas within the school (i.e., the school gym, library, school grounds, auditorium, etc.) By sponsoring these areas LPA will be able to continually improve upon the facilities and provide excellence in the surroundings of the students.


3. Event Sponsor $100 - $500/Event
As an Event Sponsor you will provide funds, services or materials to support a LPA specific program or event.


4. School Safety & Security $5,000

Sponsorship would assist LPA to ensure both schools have all supplies, equipment and training necessary to keep our students safe in case of emergency situations.


EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS
1. Keys of Excellence/Character Education Sponsorship $2,500
The sponsor would assist with the Keys of Excellence and other Character Education programs used in LPA. The sponsorship funds would go toward items such as training, equipment and supplies, assemblies and guest speakers, rewards for students demonstrating excellence in character.

2. Socratic Seminars $8,000
Secondary School
Sponsorship of LPA’s Socratic Seminars will enable the school to carry out its vision of creating an environment with a highly motivating form of intellectual and scholarly discourse. In Socratic Seminars, participants seek deeper understanding of complex ideas in the text through rigorously thoughtful dialogue, rather than by memorizing bit of information. An effective Socratic Seminar creates dialogue as opposed to debate. Socratic Seminar texts are chosen for their richness in ideas, issues and values and their ability to stimulate extended, thoughtful dialogue.

• Your company logo will receive placement on school’s Sponsorship Wall in a prominent location near the front entrance of the building for 2 years
• Company Logo on website’s sponsorship page for 2 years
• Company Logo and mention in yearbook for 2 years
• Company logo and recognition in secondary student planners for 1 year

3. International Odyssey/Student Travel $2,500 per student
Secondary School
Sponsorship will enable students to travel to various locations across the world, providing them with a hands-on experience of history, language and culture.
Recognition:
• Your company logo will receive placement on school’s Sponsorship Wall in a prominent location near the front entrance of the building for 1 year
• Company Logo on website’s sponsorship page for 1 year
• Company Logo and mention in yearbook for 1 year
• Acknowledgement in school newsletter

SECONDARY FACILITY
1. Media Center Installation $30,000
Funding is needed for book purchases, media equipment and other needed supplies.
Recognition:
• Your company logo will receive permanent placement on school’s Sponsorship Wall in a prominent location near the front entrance of the building.
• Company Logo on website’s sponsorship page for 5 years
• Company Logo and mention in yearbook for 5 years
• Company Logo and mention in yearbook for 5 years
• Acknowledgement in school newsletter for 1 year

2. Field House $150,000
On campus building to house Physical Education, Health, Dance and other classes. The building will also serve as the facility used for competitive indoor sporting events such as basketball and volleyball.
Recognition
• Naming rights for the Field House facility
• Your company logo will receive permanent placement on school’s Sponsorship Wall in a prominent location near the front entrance of the building.
• Company Name/ Logo on school website’s sponsorship page for 10 years
• Company Logo and mention in yearbook for 10 years
• Company logo and recognition in secondary student planners for 5 years
• Acknowledgement in school newsletter

EXTRA CURRICULAR PROGRAMS
1. Leadership $3,000
Your sponsorship provides materials, training and other resources for LPA Student Body Officers and Student Council members to engage in leadership activities on behalf of the LPA student body.
Recognition:
• Your company logo will receive placement on school’s Sponsorship Wall in a prominent location near the front entrance of the building for 1 year
• Company Logo on website’s sponsorship page for 1 year
• Company Logo and mention in yearbook for 1 year
• Acknowledgement in school newsletter

2. Musical Stage Productions $500-$5,000
Your sponsorship provides tools and materials to light, amplify, costume and design our musical and dramatic productions.
Recognition:
• Company name/logo will appear in playbill
• Acknowledgement in school newsletter
• Company name and logo will be placed on website for duration of the school year
• Company name and/or Logo will appear on all flyers, posters and promotional materials
• Company Logo and mention in secondary school yearbook for 1 year
