EVERY family with students at LPA is expected to volunteer 40 hours each school year (20 hours for single-parent families). Parents may volunteer at either campus to get volunteer hours in!
Due to the confusion with the previous software, we have simplified the process. To log your hours, please fill out the following VOLUNTEER LOG.
Unfortunately, this form will not automatically total your hours for you to view. If you need to know your total hours, please email Nicki Claeys @ nclaeys@legacyprep.org.
ELEMENTARY CAMPUS
- ART EXTRAVAGANZA/SPRING CONCERT, held Thursday, May 10th. Please email Kristene Eddings calnkris@comcast.net
or call 801-891-3574 if you would like to volunteer in the following areas:
- Decorating (3 volunteers) - Planning and decorating the stage area and halls.
- School Calendar's (2 volunteers)- This was a great fundraiser last year and we are going to do it again this year. It will involve working with Ms. Jacobs to get the art for the calendars, scanning them in and putting them on a flash drive. You will then work with Nicki Claeys in organizing the calendar.
- Cards with the Children's Art (2 volunteers) - Parents (or others) will be able to order sets of cards with their child's art (the art piece will be what is displayed at the art show). You will need to work with Ms. Jacobs to get the art then after orders have been placed help distribute them.
- Art Sales (2 volunteers) - this will involve getting an order form ready for that night to include sale of the art, calendars, and cards. It will also involve getting high school volunteers to help that night and volunteers to help work at the table. Will also work with the calendar and card volunteers after the event to help distribute items to the families.
- Advertising (2 volunteers) - This will involve getting posters/banners to put around the school and in the community, creating a flier to go home with the event schedule and info, creating a poster for the hallway with the preforming schedule, submitting an advertisement to KSL & The Clipper, etc.
- General help night of the event.
- FAMILY LITERACY NIGHT COMMITTEE NEEDED - We are planning an amazing literacy night for our elementary families this spring. Full of fun activities to promote reading! We need a committee to help plan and execute this exciting first event. Please contact Nicki Claeys to signup. nclaeys@legacyprep.org.
- Builder President and VP needed for next year! This is a vital volunteer position for our school to help coordinate our committee chairs and Classroom Managers and keep fun things happening at LPA! If interested in more information, please contact tact Nicki Claeys nclaeys@legacyprep.org.
- Read with elementary students - looking for parents or grandparents) willing to listen to students read and help improve fluency and accuracy. Needed daily:, we will work with your schedule! Contact Mrs. Holman kholman@legacyprep.org
