LPA is a public charter school with private school appeal and discipline, one whose primary goal is that of inspiring children to wonder about the world around them, and to query and challenge the many systems, sciences and arts, which sustain mankind and enrich their lives.
A classical education emphasizes the importance of outward service and greater personal resiliency and courage.
We have two campuses at LPA. One is the south campus for grades k-4 and the other is the north campus for grades 5-9.
Classical education about the “entire human-being”, which includes intellectual and moral virtues. Intellectually, its goal is to teach students to think well and to master a certain body of knowledge. In terms of moral virtues, it guides students to act with honor and integrity, and to exhibit discipline and self-control.
LPA is driven to motivate children to develop a lifetime love of learning through inspirational teachers and teachings, while at the same time fostering a true sense of self and self-worth, sensibly balanced by a selfless nobility of character.
