Veterans Day is a time to express our gratitude and appreciation for the sacrifices they have made to protect our freedom and uphold our values. As Veteran's Day approaches, Legacy Prep is excited to host a series of special events and activities to honor and celebrate both our brave veterans and the heroes that shape our student's lives. Help us honor the Veterans in your life by inviting them to join us at any of the following events.
Here's a rundown of the events we have planned:
- Veterans Day Elementary School Assembly
Date: Wednesday, November 8th
Time: Grades K-3 8:20-9:00am, Grades 4-6 9:30-10:10am
Location: Building 2 Auditorium
Our youngest community members will have the opportunity to learn about the significance of Veterans Day in a special assembly tailored just for them. We'll have age-appropriate activities and presentations to help them understand and appreciate our veterans.
- Veterans Day Junior High School Assembly
Date: Friday, November 10th
Time: 10:10-11:10 am
Location: Building 2 Auditorium
Junior high students will come together to honor our veterans, hear inspiring stories, and learn about the importance of this day in our nation's history.
- Hero's Lunch
Date: Friday, November 10th
Time: See the lunch schedule for your child’s lunchtime
Heroes are invited to join students for lunch. This event is an opportunity to personally thank our veterans, first responders, and family heroes. School lunch is available for purchase for $4.00 per person. Guests may also bring lunch in.
