Spirit Week
We are excited to announce this year’s Spirit Week – a time for students to showcase their creativity, have fun, and show off their school pride! Below is a schedule of this years themed dress-up days along with guidelines to ensure everyone enjoys the week while following school policies.
Spirit Week Schedule
Monday – College and Career Day: Dress as your future career or represent a college!
Tuesday – Color War: Wear red, white, or blue (Non-uniform) and see which color wins!
SBOs will offer face painting in the morning beginning at 7:30 am in building 1 gym for elementary students and the building 2 Forum for Junior High Students!
Wednesday – Old West Wednesday: Dress in Country/Western attire or as a Pioneer!
Thursday – Throwback Thursday (Decades Day!): Dress as someone from a decade pre-2000s!
Friday – Freaky Friday: Dress as an adult in your life who inspires you—a teacher, parent, public figure, or role model.
Guidelines for Participation:
- Jeans are allowed each day – students can incorporate them into their outfits!
- All outfits must comply with dress down day guidelines
- All outfits must comply with the school dress code in terms of length and appropriateness.
- No masks, full-face paint, or inappropriate graphics.
- No hats on heads, but they may be worn on the back on Western Day
- Bandanas are okay tied around the neck or in the hair on Western Day
- Safe and school-appropriate footwear must be worn at all times Fun and
Inexpensive Participation Ideas
- Get creative with items you already own!
- Mix and match clothes for different themes.
- Use craft supplies to make accessories for Throwback Thursday or Color War.
- Swap or borrow items from family and friends to complete your look.
