Friendship Week

Kindergarten - 6th grade

Monday- Make New Friends: Each student will write their name and a quality that makes a good friend, or a quality they look for in a good friend, on a small gold circle then drop the gold circles off at the front office. The builders will create a fun art project with these smaller circles.

 

Tuesday- Buddy Band Day: All students will be given a golden band/bracelet, and are encouraged to swap band/bracelets with a new friend.

 

Wednesday- Human Bingo: Students are encouraged to meet new friends and complete a human bingo on their card.

 

Thursday- SHOW US YOUR YELLOW: Please have students wear yellow to school on Thursday (shirt, socks, hair bow, scrunchy, tie, fingernails, etc.) to represent being a gold medal friend followed by a' glow in the dark dance that evening'.  All K-9 families are invited to attend. The dance will be held at 6:30 pm at the South Campus.

 

Friday- COMPLIMEDALS:  Staff will hand out paper gold medals to students they see as being good friends/doing a good deed. Students may keep the gold medals and take them home. 

 

JUNIOR HIGH

Monday - Music party at lunch

 

Tuesday - Lunch recess

 

Wednesday - Human Bingo at lunch

 

Thursday - Wear yellow (to represent being a "golden friend")

 

Friday - Students receive a friendship band & evening outdoor social bash at the North Campus from 6-8 pm
