LPA is a tuition FREE public charter school.
Enrollment for all new students is conducted through a state-approved lottery system.
LPA has an enrollment capacity of 1,200 students.
For the 2023/2024 lottery, LPA may enroll up to 284 additional students.
2023-2024 Lottery Important Dates
- 11/30/2022 First open enrollment begins
- 01/04/2023 Current/Returning student registration begins
- 01/23/2023 Lottery pulled for the first time
Any Kindergarten seats offered for the 2023/2024 school year are full-day, however, you may opt for the morning half-day schedule once you have been offered a seat in Kindergarten (on or after January 23, 2023).

The 2023/2024 Lottery will be run on January 23, 2023. Please look for an email on or after January 23 informing you that your child was either accepted or placed on a waiting list. Please accept or decline the invitation within SEVEN DAYS of receiving a spot for enrollment. Should you fail to accept or decline placement for your child within seven days of receiving an enrollment opportunity, YOUR APPLICATION WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE MOVED TO THE BOTTOM OF THE WAITING LIST. This email may go to your spam account, so look for it there. Thank you.
Please note: If you applied to the lottery for more than one child, you will receive an acceptance/waiting list email per application.
