2019 Utah Assessments Updates

Dear Parents, The SAGE test has been replaced with the updated Legislative changes which requires a Utah Standards Assessment for grades 3-8 and a High School Assessment for grades 9-10. As the existing SAGE contract expires two new vendors, Questar (3-8) and Pearson (9-10), have been selected to design the assessments. The SAGE test has been replaced with the RISE test and grades 9-10 have been adopted into Utah ASPIRES PLUS. *Please see the below attachments of frequently asked Questions (FAQ)

Required Child Abuse Information & Training

During the 2014 General Session of the Utah Legislature a bill was passed mandating all schools to provide training and instruction on child sexual abuse prevention and awareness to school personnel in elementary and secondary schools and to parents or guardians of elementary school students. The bill is now part of Utah Code and can be found in UCA 53A-13-112. Also, in 1999, Utah’s “Duty to Report” law was put into effect requiring all Utah citizens, age 18 and older, to report suspected child abuse and neglect.

2018 - 2019 Uniform Swap Dates

Don't miss our upcoming Uniform Swap which will he held at the North Campus. Our Swap dates for the 2018-2019 school year will be on
Sept. 27th from 2:00 - 6:30 pm and Feb. 7th from 2:00 - 6:30 pm.

Our Summer Uniform Swap will be the last week of June. Watch for sign ups coming soon!

*Feel Free to drop clothing off at both the North and South Campus Offices. Don't forget to pick up your voucher when doing so!

Lee's Marketplace:
Our local grocery store, Lee's Marketplace, has set up the wonderful School Cents Program. This program helps to give back to LPA. All that is required is to return your ​receipts ​to a Lee's Marketplace store​! All receipts need to be from this 2017​-2018 ​School Year​. Any prior​ receipts will not count for this year's totals.

Smith's grocery store has set up an amazing community rewards program. Register LPA in Smith's Inspiring Donation Program and receive a unique number that is registered to LPA. Log in at Smithsfoodanddrug.com/inspire.
Purchases made using the linked rewards Cards will support LPA!
Smith’s Inspiring Donations will donate 0.5% of every eligible purchase made by supporters to LPA. Participants must re-enroll every year.
